The Charter Review Commission is considering adding language about an independent rate-setting body or process to determine city water and sewer rates, those rates that fall under the jurisdiction of the City of Portland.

You are invited to comment or attend public meetings and upcoming forums to contribute your thoughts on this issue. For more information about the Charter Review Commission, you can visit www.portlandonline.com/chartercommission. Regular Commission meetings are also open to the public, and meeting times and locations are posted on the web site.
