Vision into Action (VIA) is a community-based group formed in 2009 to move us closer to achieving Portland’s vision for 2030. We are building on an unprecedented, two-year civic engagement effort that involved 17,000 community members from every walk of life in creating a shared vision for the city’s future.
Our mission is to increase the ability of all people of Portland to shape the future of their neighborhoods, city, and region in alignment with their values and priorities. We seek to be a catalyst for concrete actions that will move us closer to realizing the future we want for ourselves and for future generations.
